Controller

The Controller will be responsible for monitoring daily accounting activities, budgeting, developing internal accounting controls, tracking high volume corporate client accounts and building a strong financial team. The successful candidate for this position will report directly to our VP, Finance & Administration and play an instrumental role in the financial future of the company. Core Competencies:

Essential Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, Cash Receipts, Collections, Payroll Prep, Journal Entries and Reconciliations Manage EOM/EOY closing Manage Yearly Audits Manage Sales Tax Audits Manage EOM Raymond Reporting Prepare, review and issue monthly financial statements Manage or prepare journal entries and balance sheet workpapers Manage the General Ledger Process payroll and prepare payroll accrual Upload payroll into Irium Prepare Fidelity Payments for AP Maintain business insurance schedules Reconcile bank statement Reconcile sales equipment inventory Reconcile sales and use Tax and oversee prep and filing Maintain sales tax database Review sales use tax accrual EOM COS analysis and corrections Calculate and prepare commission statements Prepare Raymond Commentary 1099 Vendor Income Tax review Manage standard journal entries Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules and upload into Irium AR collection review, cleanup and troubleshooting Manage third party collections Manage or prepare misc. analysis and reconciliations Review and upload VISA journal entry Review and Approve Customer Credit Applications Oversee EOY 1099's Job Knowledge:
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite as well as in integrated accounting system. Education &
Experience:
Bachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance required. 3 to 5 years' experience as an accountant. 5 to 7 years' in an accounting leadership role. Strong budgeting, financial forecasting and financial analysis skills required. Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and speak with good articulation and voice control. The Associate is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:
Typically works under normal office conditions and is required to sit for extended periods of time. Regularly spend significant amounts of time working in front of computer terminal or in interactions with various people. Some travel may be required. Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Accounting, Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
